The Department of Student Affairs advises and assists the president in implementing the state’s policies, laws, and ideologies. It also manages students, trainees, and research students during their on-campus hours.
The Student Affairs Department is responsible for assuring learners receive the best overall education possible, which includes values, morals, and lifestyle instruction, political and ideological training, legal knowledge, the development of life skills, as well as physical education and health care guidance.
The department also advises and implements activities to support its learners-providing academic and career counseling, employment and start-up support, financial support, health care counseling (both physical and psychological), as well as numerous other assistance and support programs. Among these other management tasks are overseeing organizational and administrative work, the assessment of learners, managing on and off campus students, and ensuring school security, order, and safety.
The department works within the guidelines and in accordance with the State’s regulations, agreements, protocols, cooperation agreements, and training associations.
