Vinh University has been lauded for its academic excellence. It has met national education quality accreditation standards in multiple years and achieved a 4-star rating for quality assurance standards from UPM (University Performance Metrics).

The university boasts twenty-five accredited training programs, with two (mathematics education and information technology) meeting the quality accreditation standards set forth by AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance).

Furthermore, UPM (University Performance Metrics) has granted ratings to two faculties and two training programs. The Faculty of Education and the Mathematics Education program have achieved 5-star ratings, while the Faculty of Economics and the Business Administration program have achieved 4-star ratings.
